Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is incorporated by reference into the Denouement Terms of Service. It defines permitted and prohibited uses of the Denouement Platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Permitted Use

The Denouement Platform is designed and licensed for use by professional wedding and event planners in connection with their event planning business operations, including:

Uploading and analyzing vendor contracts for events you are professionally managing
Tracking payments and budgets for your clients' events
Managing vendor communications and obligations for client events
Organizing event-related files and documents for your clients
Using AI-assisted tools to support planning workflow

Prohibited Uses

1. Intellectual Property Violations

You may not:

Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the Platform
Attempt to extract, copy, or derive the design of AI models, algorithms, or system prompts
Use Platform output, AI-generated content, or architectural knowledge gained from using the Platform to develop or improve a competing product or service
Scrape, crawl, or extract Platform data through automated means beyond normal Platform use
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or watermarks

2. Data and Privacy Violations

You may not:

Upload Personal Data for which you do not have a lawful basis to process
Upload protected health information (HIPAA-covered PHI) to the Platform
Upload data subject to export control laws or classified designations
Use the Platform to collect or process information from individuals you know to be under 18
Use the Platform to build profiles of individuals for purposes unrelated to the event being planned

3. AI System Integrity

You may not:

Attempt to manipulate, bypass, or "jailbreak" AI features to produce outputs inconsistent with intended use
Attempt to extract training data, model weights, or internal system prompts from AI features
Submit inputs designed to cause the Platform to generate harmful, false, defamatory, or illegal content
Use AI features to generate content that impersonates real individuals without consent
Attempt to use AI output to falsify contracts, financial records, or legal documents

4. Security and System Integrity

You may not:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
Introduce malicious code, viruses, or other harmful components
Conduct load testing or security scanning without our prior written consent
Interfere with or disrupt Platform availability for other users

5. Sharing and Resale

You may not:

Share your account credentials with third parties
Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Platform to parties not covered by your subscription
Use a single account to provide Platform services to multiple independent businesses without an appropriate enterprise license

6. Illegal and Harmful Conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law
Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes
Process data in violation of applicable privacy laws

Enforcement

We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on severity, violations may result in:

A warning and request to cure
Temporary suspension of Platform access
Permanent termination of your account without refund
Referral to law enforcement where required by law

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.

Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, please report it to: legal@denouement.ai

Updates

We may update this AUP with 14 days' notice by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
